Support a Brazilian Missionary
“How can they hear except someone tell them?” Full-time laborers are sorely needed. For as little as $30 a month you can participate in the support of a laborer who will be giving his time entirely to the growth of the Kingdom. You can personally help the growth of the Kingdom in northeastern Brazil by supporting a national missionary for $30 per month.
Why sponsor?
With few or no cultural barriers to overcome, native missionaries can readily preach the Gospel to those who have never heard. Although native missionaries do face many difficult obstacles as they take the message from village to village, they still have an enormous advantage over their coworkers from North America.
Today, it is difficult for American missionaries to obtain a visa that would allow them to live and work in Brazil.
Additionally, a native missionary can be sent out at a fraction of the cost of a Western missionary. In fact, the total average cost is only $600 per month compared to over $6,000 per month for a foreign missionary.
In the eyes of the people, native missionaries do not represent a foreign country and the possibility of reaching them is greater, and the possibility of reaching Brazil’s multitudes through native missionaries in our generation is very real.

Where does the money go?
100% of your sponsorship goes directly to Brazil! Nothing is taken out for administration or fundraising. Your missionary receives the full benefit of your generosity.
How does it work?
You can either provide the entire year’s funds at once ($360) or $30 per month. We have partnered with PayPal to give you the option of automatic payment.
Should you wish to pay by check, you can send the payment directly to us, made out to “Gospel for Brazil” and earmarked for “Native Missionary Support.”
Once you are registered with us, you will receive a an information packet on the missionary giving you insight into their life and allowing you to begin corresponding by mail or email.

Will $30 per month be enough to fully support my missionary?
It takes about $600 per month to fully support a native missionary, including family support and ministry expenses. We generally assign several sponsors to each missionary in $30 increments to reach the full support. Distributing a missionary’s support in this manner provides for greater prayer support and prevents the complete loss of income in the event a sponsor is forced to discontinue.
Unable to give $30 per month?
You can still support a missionary! Every dollar given goes directly to the support of a native evangelist. Ten dollars a month will go a long ways to helping a missionary spread the Good News!
