Gospel for Brazil was started for a dual purpose – to insure that the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ is fully preached in the interior of northeastern Brazil, for the Brazilians and by the Brazilians, and to practice what the Bible calls "pure and faultless" religion — taking care of those who are unable to do so. Our Seed of Hope initiative springs from this foundation.

Something that we take for granted —food, sanitary living conditions, clothes— are commodities that staggering numbers of children in the northeast of Brazil do not have. Poverty is defined as not earning approximately $2 per day; many in the northeast do not even classify as poor. Their income is typically less than $1 per day, a classification that is known as "extreme poverty."

You can make a difference in the life of a child who struggles to simply have what we call "necessities." For $1 a day you can help a child have a future.

You could be the miracle a child is waiting for.
For just $1 a day, you have the opportunity to provide a child a daily, nutritious meal, tuition, school supplies and medical and dental check-ups. You will receive a photo of one of these children that you will help sponsor with their name and birthdate so you can pray for them, send them cards, etc.

Why sponsor?
Through Seed of Hope, your child, their family and their community will be able to hear the Good News. You will provide your child the opportunity to attend school and learn to read and write; this will open the doors of opportunity and help them break the vicious cycle of poverty. They will be taught using the Bible; they will hear and study the Word daily.

Where does the money go?
100% of your sponsorship goes directly to Brazil! Nothing is taken out for administration or fundraising. Your child receives the full benefit of your generosity.

How does it works?
You can either provide the entire year's funds at once ($360) or $30 per month. We have partnered with PayPal to give you the option of automatic payment.

Should you wish to pay by check, you can send the payment directly to us, made out to "Gospel for Brazil" and earmarked for "Seed of Hope."

Once you are registered with us, you will receive a photo of your child, along with his name and date of birth. Once your child begins to receive your assistance, you will be able to write to him.
