International Apostolic Network

A symbol of binding unity between churches in northern and southern Brazil.

A network is “a structure in which cords, threads, or wires cross at regular intervals.” We talk about social networks and computer networks, both of which refer to the common base of joining either people or components together so that they can communicate, share and interact with others in a common setting. The term is used to refer to a system of interrelated components (people, resources, etc.) that cover a large area or is scattered throughout a country, territory or region.

In the arena of the church, biblically, it is no different.

The Rede Apostólica Gospel for Brazil Internacional, RAGI (Gospel for Brazil Apostolic Network) forms an integral part of what we do. As in the words of the famous song by Sister Sledge, “We are family.”

As a family that is spread out over the state of Ceará, the northeast and even into the south of Brazil, our goal is to train, equip and mobilize leaders and churches of all varieties, in different situations, without spiritual coverage, without a local and global vision, to become the glorious bride that Jesus is going to return for. We aim to reproduce the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of power evangelism, to fulfill the Great Commission, to plant churches and to care for the impoverished and forgotten.

We fulfill this charge through providing spiritual coverage for leaders and churches where there is none, giving them a sense of belonging in a larger group of like-minded believers; through providing ongoing leadership training in classes and seminars and short-term schools to equip the members; through carrying teams into the area where these churches are and providing evangelistic manpower to aid their growth; and through providing additional resources that are strategic to their spreading of the Kingdom.

We fully and truly embrace Jesus’ call to unity. This network of churches and ministries exists in order to better facilitate the revelation to the apostle Paul regarding the purpose of the five-fold ministries in Ephesians 4:11-13.

We are aligned and participate in the Rede Apostolica Global Awakening Internacional (RAGAI) in Brazil and in the Apostolic Network of Global Awakening (ANGA) in the U.S. We believe in, and promulgate, three basic principles that are common to us all: lighting the fire, casting vision and building bridges.

  • Lighting the fire: transferring the renewal ministry of Holy Spirt and His gifts to God’s people, especially leaders.
  • Casting vision: Jesus said he would grow the church; we are to spread the Kingdom. The biblical vision of His Kingdom rapidly expanding is accomplished through a powerful evangelism that includes healing, deliverance and the realization of the gifts of Holy Spirit in the church.
  • Building bridges: establishing relationships with church leaders of all types, especially those whose outlook is more “global,” and creating that same interaction between them.

We are what we have been recently called an “apostolic church-planting movement.”
